Since our founding in 1980 in Nashville, Tennessee, NDI has always been privately-owned and customer-oriented. From that one original location, Rogers Morrison Jr. built the business, and NDI became known as one of the premier independent distributors in the office furniture industry. After Rogers retired in 2013, Jimmy Green assumed the ownership, and under his leadership, NDI has continued to extend its reach across the continental United States and beyond.
So how did NDI grow from that single Nashville office to supplying furniture retailers across the continental United States and beyond? It began by focusing on our primary passion: great customer service. And we continue to serve our customers so well because we maintain deep inventory, provide consistent delivery, and use effective marketing programs. NDI remains a family business where each of the retailers we serve become not just customers, but part of our always growing family.
